About Namaste Moments™

The Alignment Framework for Everyday Life helps people recognize what feels out of alignment and make choices that better reflect who they are becoming.

The Namaste Moments Approach

Alignment begins in the choices we make every day.

I created Namaste Moments™ from a belief that the direction of our lives is shaped in ordinary moments. The choices we make, the way we respond, the relationships we nurture, and the way we lead ourselves all become part of the life we are creating.

Namaste Moments™ gives people a practical way to notice when something no longer fits and to make more intentional choices about what comes next. It is designed for real life: careers, relationships, leadership, transitions, growth, and the everyday decisions that gradually shape a new chapter.

The work is not about perfection or constant self-improvement. It is about becoming more aware of what matters now and creating greater consistency between what we value, how we live, and who we are becoming.

Namaste Moments™ begins with a simple idea: our lives are shaped by the moments we live every day. How we choose, communicate, lead, rest, respond, and begin again gradually becomes the life we are building. Alignment is not something we reach once and keep forever. It is the ongoing practice of noticing what has changed, recognizing what matters now, and allowing our choices to evolve with us.

The Four Pillars

Lead. Love. Align. Evolve.™

Four ways of recognizing what matters now and carrying that awareness into the choices, relationships, and chapters that shape a life.

01

Lead

To lead is not only about title or authority. It is about taking responsibility for how we show up, what we choose, and what we create.

02

Love

To love is to practice care, respect, honesty, and compassion in our relationships, including the relationship we have with ourselves.

03

Align

To align is to bring our choices into greater agreement with what we value and what we know to be true for us now.

04

Evolve

To evolve is to remain open to growth, learning, change, and the possibility that a new chapter may require a new way of being.

Who It Is For

For people who want their next chapter to reflect who they have become.

Namaste Moments™ is for people who sense that something in their life, relationships, leadership, or direction has shifted. They may not need to start over, but they do want greater clarity about what still fits, what no longer does, and what deserves their attention now.

It is for people willing to reflect honestly, make intentional choices, and create a life that feels increasingly consistent with their values, priorities, and evolving sense of self.

The Alignment Framework™

The Namaste Moments Alignment Framework™ is the foundation of everything we create. It begins with the Alignment Quiz™, which helps identify which of the four pillars may need your attention now.

From there, the Alignment Studio™, the ebook, and the Alignment Companion Workbook™ help turn insight into practice through reflection, decisions, and small actions that can be used in everyday life.

The goal is not to prescribe one way to live. It is to give people a structure for recognizing what matters to them and making choices from that awareness.

Alignment is not a performance. It is the ongoing practice of noticing, choosing, adjusting, and becoming more deliberate about the life you are creating.

From the Founder

A Personal Note

Hi, I’m Mildred Lewis, the founder of Namaste Moments™.

Long before Namaste Moments became a company, the phrase was part of how I thought about leadership and teaching.

Throughout my career in higher education, I spent a great deal of time in rooms where people were navigating difficult decisions, competing priorities, disagreement, change, and the responsibility of finding a way forward.

I began to notice that meaningful progress did not always require everyone to agree. Sometimes what mattered was that people could leave a conversation with greater clarity, a shared direction, or a next step — while preserving respect and dignity.

I began calling those moments Namaste Moments.

Over time, the idea became larger than any meeting, classroom, or leadership setting. I began to see the same principle in everyday life: in relationships, in transitions, in the choices we make, and in the moments when we realize that something that once fit us may no longer fit who we have become.

My academic path has taken me through French, Philosophy and Religion, Theology, and Educational Leadership, ultimately earning a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Across those disciplines and throughout my professional life, I kept returning to questions about meaning, growth, human relationships, leadership, and how we make choices during periods of change.

Those questions eventually became part of the foundation of Namaste Moments™ and the Alignment Framework™.

I created this work for people navigating real lives and real transitions — people who are leading, loving, reconsidering, growing, changing, and deciding what comes next.

My hope is that Namaste Moments™ gives people a practical way to recognize what matters now, notice what may be out of alignment, and make choices that more fully reflect who they have become and the life they are creating.

A Note from the Founder

Hi, I’m Mildred Lewis — the founder of Namaste Moments™.

Before this became a brand, it was simply how I tried to live. I’ve spent my career as an educator and executive in higher education: leading teams to deliver on an institution’s mission, teaching seminars and classrooms alongside some of the most brilliant scholars and administrators I know, many of them my own students, and serving the students and communities who trusted me with their growth.

My studies have carried me across French, Philosophy and Religion, Theology, and Educational Leadership with a master’s and, ultimately, a doctorate in the latter. But the through-line of all of it has been the same question that lives at the heart of Namaste Moments™ : how do we live, lead, and love with intention rather than urgency?

That question is why I created this. Namaste Moments™ is where everything I’ve learned in classrooms, in leadership, and in service comes home to something simpler : the small, everyday moments where we reconnect with ourselves and with one another.

My intention is simple and enduring: to help make everyday life a little more conscious, compassionate, and connected, one moment at a time.

Warmly,

Mildred Lewis
